APPOINTMENTS
Patients are seen by appointment only. We will confirm your appointment with you the day before you are scheduled to arrive. In the event that you cannot make your appointment, we respectfully request that you notify us as soon as possible. This way, we can give this time to another patient who may be waiting on our cancellation list.
Our Covid-19 protocol - day of appointment:
- park close by before your scheduled appointment
- call us from the car and we will let you in when ready
- enter after a few questions and your temperature is checked, we can start your appointment – remember to bring your face mask and thank you for your cooperation.

AFTER HOURS, NON-EMERGENCY
Please leave a message with our answering service, and we will return your call during our regular office hours. A doctor is available for all medical emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
FEES AND PAYMENTS
Part of keeping the cost of your medical care down as much as possible is collecting all co-payments, non-covered services and deductibles at the time of service. With this in mind, we require payment upon check-out from your appointment. For your convenience, we do accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. As a courtesy to you, we are happy to bill insurance for any plans with which we participate.
Please note, however, that financial responsibility is ultimately the patient's, and we cannot guarantee payment from any particular carrier. We strongly encourage each patient to confirm with their insurance carrier and our front desk the status of our contracts at every office visit. Elander Eye Medical Group does not participate with any Vision Coverage (such as V.S.P. or EyeMed), and we are unable to bill them for any services rendered.
